DO YOU ACCEPT ADMISSIONS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR ?

Enrolments are open throughout the year. The Bangalore University follows a semester pattern. The examination pattern is also semester based. However, admissions are only on the annual basis ie., the Bangalore University admits students only in the odd semesters and not in the even semesters. However, the enrolments are open throughout the year, you can book your seats well in advance thereby avoiding last minute disappointment.

ARE ALL THE COURSES APPROVED BY AICTE ?

All professional courses offered by SJES are approved by AICTE. AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) New Delhi, Govt. of India, is a professional technical body that recognizes Technical and Professional courses. The courses that fall under the purview of AICTE in SJES are BHM (Bachelor of Hotel Management), MBA (Master of Business Administration) . These two courses are affiliated to Bangalore University and approved by AICTE.

DO I HAVE TO SUBMIT ALL CERTIFICATES IN ORIGINAL ?

Yes, you have to submit all certificates in original. Bangalore University requires the original certificates to be verified. As such students wishing to pursue undergraduate programs have to submit the following documents: 

• Marks Card of Secondary Education (10th standard / O level with 5 pass / equivalent) 

• Marks card of Higher Secondary Education (12th standard / A level with 2 pass / equivalent) Transfer Certificate (not applicable for international students) issued by the concerned Board (Govt. body). Character Certificate issued by school/college. Migration Certificate [not applicable for international students]issued by the concerned board (Govt body). 

Students wishing to pursue post-graduate programs have to submit the following documents:

Yes, we offer 100% placement. We have a very impressive placement record with all leading companies offering to accept our students. In certain cases companies only look at the candidate having studied at SJES. Our Placement cell follows a systematic approach of grooming the students to appear in campus interviews. They have to register in advance at the Placement Cell.

ARE THE SYLLABI AT PAR WITH INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS ?

Yes, the syllabus that is followed at SJES is at par with International Standards. The Bangalore University has a specialist team that regularly updates the syllabi. However, there are limitations since the University is very big. As such at SJES, we have the Department of Strategy and Development that looks into this affair. We have regular interactions with International Universities and Education Bodies that are involved in innovating teaching methodologies. Hence, the syllabus that is offered at SJES is always at par with international standards.
